ABOUT US

Where and how it started in Marietta, GA.

After a brutal summer day in Georgia and an exasperating round of 18 holes, I dreaded the thought of soaking my clubs and scrubbing each iron by hand. I kept thinking, "There has to be a better way." After searching online and finding no affordable options, I decided to take matters into my own hands. With the help of my chief engineer, we set out to create a solution. Together, we designed the first prototype of Clean Shot. After countless revisions and rigorous testing, we finally perfected a fast, effective, and budget-friendly tool that can clean an entire set of clubs in just a few minutes. What’s more, we’re proud to be environmentally conscious—our product uses far less water than other cleaning products on the market.

WHY SHOULD GOLF CLUBS BE CLEANED?

Check out why we think you should approach every round with the cleanest clubs!

01

Club Grooves

Golf club grooves are the tiny, horizontal cuts on the face of a golf club and are part of the identity of every single golf club. The grooves on a clubface play a crucial role in spin control. The spin imparted on the ball by the clubface is critical in determining the trajectory and distance of the ball. Without sufficient spin, the ball may not travel far, while excessive spin can cause the ball to curve erratically off-course.

Why Clean

Clean grooves are critical as it reduces the chance of fliers!

The condition of the grooves on a golf clubface is essential to maintain spin control.

Over time, dirt, grass, and sand can accumulate in the grooves, reducing their effectiveness.

Research shows that you can lose up to 1,300 RPM of spin if you don’t keep your grooves clean. Golf club grooves are essential for spin control, which in turn is crucial for a golfer’s performance.
